Power and flexibility
HTML help makes full use of ActiveX™ Controls to provide a tri-pane (contents, index and word search) help system. It supports Java™ and a range of scripting languages including JavaScript™ and JScript™, and offers a power and flexibility that its predecessor, WinHelp, did not provide. The HTML pages, graphics and other files that comprise the help are compressed into a single, relatively small CHM file. HTML help has no practical file size, topic size or contents entry limits.
Our HTML help expertise
Since working on the very first HTML help project with Microsoft in 1997, we have carried out a large number of HTML help projects for many organisations.
By writing our own JavaScript code, we can include features in our online help that help development tools such as RoboHelp do not provide. The result is online help that is 'slicker' and more intuitive to users.
Animated demos and software simulations
You can include animated demos within your HTML help, to provide walkthroughs of key tasks. The result is dynamic online help that comes to life. For further details, see E-learning.
