Training is provided by means of classroom teaching and practical exercises carried out under guidance. Sessions cover the planning of projects, writing from a design, structuring your documents, good writing practice, adapting your writing style for print and online formats, punctuation and grammar, techniques for documentation navigation, proofreading and documentation standards. Course objective
To provide a grounding in technical authoring principles and writing styles appropriate to user documentation.
Who should attend?
New technical authors and technical writers, and people who are not career technical authors or technical writers, but who have been tasked with producing user documentation.
Courseware and certification
Delegates receive comprehensive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher following the course. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed the course.
After course support
Delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from Armada to help with any post-training issues.
