Learning AutoCAD Essentials training provides a thorough grounding in AutoCAD for beginners. On completion, you will be able to use AutoCAD to produce accurate 2D drawings.

The course runs for three days, during which delegates learn the basic commands and techniques for drawing. Click here for the full course outline.

This is an Autodesk-authorised course, run by an Autodesk Certified Trainer (ACT). Delegates receive Autodesk Official Training Courseware, the most comprehensive AutoCAD training materials available.

Three days.

Course objectives

To provide a thorough grounding in AutoCAD, learning how to produce accurate 2D drawings.

Method of delivery

AutoCAD training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.

Who should attend?

Learning AutoCAD Essentials training is ideal for:

		Newcomers to AutoCAD and CAD drawing.
		Users with a small amount of AutoCAD experience.
		Users who have previously used a different CAD tool and are looking to migrate to AutoCAD.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft^® Windows^®. No prior CAD knowledge is necessary.

Is the training relevant to specific industries?

The course teaches AutoCAD drawing techniques that can be applied to a wide range of industries and applications.

Autodesk e-certificate

We are an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Learning AutoCAD Essentials training course is accredited by Autodesk. Delegates receive an industry recognised e-certificate from Autodesk to confirm they have attended and successfully completed an accredited AutoCAD training course.

After course support

Following all AutoCAD training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from Armada to help with any post-training issues.

AutoCAD certification

Autodesk offers a program of professional certification for which Armada is an authorised Autodesk Certification Centre (ACC). All delegates attending Learning AutoCAD Essentials training at Armada have the opportunity to take an exam, either at the end of their course or on a later date, in order to gain 'Autodesk-certified' status for AutoCAD. When and where?

Scheduled Learning AutoCAD Essentials training courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands. Click here for our full address and map. As well as delegates from Birmingham and the Midlands, we often have people travel from London, Oxford, Yorkshire, East Anglia, Manchester and Liverpool, as well as Scotland and Wales, to attend AutoCAD training with us.

On-demand Learning AutoCAD Essentials courses (for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

How much does Learning AutoCAD Essentials training cost?

	Learning AutoCAD Essentials training (3 days).	£ + VAT per delegate.	£1,400 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £100 + VAT per subsequent delegate.

These prices are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

The on-demand fees quoted are for courses hosted at our training centre in Bromsgrove. Please contact us for a price for running this course at your venue, or any other options you may be considering.

Which versions of AutoCAD are covered?

Scheduled AutoCAD training courses run in 2010 are based on AutoCAD 2010 / AutoCAD LT 2010, although most of the techniques taught are relevant to all recent releases of AutoCAD. If you are using a different version of AutoCAD, the trainer will be happy to spend time looking at this with you during the course.

On-demand courses for groups can be run on any recent version, from AutoCAD 2000 to AutoCAD 2010.
