AutoCAD Essentials training provides a thorough grounding in AutoCAD. On completing the course you will be able to produce accurate 2D drawings.

The course runs for three days, during which delegates learn the basic commands and techniques for drawing in AutoCAD and have plenty of chance to put these skills into practice. Click here for the full course outline.

The course is designed for the busy professional. It is short and intensive, combining lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum eight delegates, usually fewer), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements and any problems with the trainer.

To provide a thorough grounding in AutoCAD, learning how to produce accurate 2D drawings.

Who should attend?

AutoCAD Essentials training is ideal for:

		Newcomers to AutoCAD and CAD drawing.
		Users with a small amount of AutoCAD experience.
		Users who have previously used a different CAD tool and are looking to migrate to AutoCAD.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft^® Windows^®. No prior CAD knowledge is necessary.

Is the training relevant to specific industries?

The course teaches AutoCAD drawing techniques that can be applied to a wide range of industries and applications.

Autodesk courseware and certification

We are an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and the course covers all of the techniques required to qualify as an official Autodesk Essentials course. Delegates receive comprehensive Autodesk courseware and, upon completion, an industry-recognised Autodesk training certificate.

After course support

Following all AutoCAD training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from Armada to help with any post-training issues.

When and where?

Scheduled AutoCAD Essentials training courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands. Click here for our full address and map. As well as delegates from Birmingham and the Midlands, we often have people travel from London, the Home Counties, Oxford, Yorkshire, East Anglia, Manchester and Liverpool, as well as Scotland and Wales, to attend AutoCAD Essentials training with us.

On-demand AutoCAD Essentials courses (for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

How much does AutoCAD Essentials training cost?

	Course	Scheduled (for individuals)	On-demand (for your group)
	AutoCAD Essentials training (3 days).	£495 + VAT per delegate.	£1,400 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £100 + VAT per subsequent delegate.

These prices are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

The on-demand fees quoted are for courses hosted at our training centre in Bromsgrove. Please contact us for a price for running this course at your venue, or any other options you may be interested in.

Which versions of AutoCAD are covered?

Scheduled courses run in 2008 will be based on AutoCAD 2008 / AutoCAD LT 2008, although most of the techniques taught are relevant to all recent releases of AutoCAD. If you are using a different version of AutoCAD, the trainer will be happy to spend time looking at this with you during the course. Scheduled courses run in 2009 will be based on AutoCAD 2009 / AutoCAD LT 2009.

On-demand courses for groups can be run on any recent version of AutoCAD.
