Adobe Captivate lets you rapidly create high quality software demonstrations, interactive simulations and tutorials for e-learning. The simulations, demos and e-learning tutorials can be self-running or interactive and, as they are generated in Flash format, are accessible locally, via Intranet or the Web.

Our Adobe Captivate training courses teach you how to create tutorials and demos, and make the most of Captivate's advanced features.

Armada's Captivate courses are Adobe-accredited. The trainer for this course is an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI), and an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Captivate.

Course objectives

To gain a thorough grounding in Captivate. On completing the course you will have sufficient skill and confidence to begin creating your own simulations, demos and e-learning tutorials.

Advanced Adobe Captivate training

Course objectives and duration

To teach the use of the specific advanced features of Captivate which are of interest to you and your group. The duration of the course can be arranged to suit you.

		Delegates who have attended our Introduction to Captivate training course.
		Experienced Captivate users who want to learn about its advanced features.
		Windows and Mac users alike.

General course information

Adobe-accredited Captivate training courses

Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), accredited for Captivate training. Delegates receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed Captivate training.

Method of delivery

Captivate training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.

After course support

Following Captivate training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from Armada to help with any post-training issues.

When and where?

Scheduled Captivate training courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands, close to Birmingham and the M5/M6/M40/M42 motorway network; they are attended by delegates from all parts of the UK and beyond. Click here for forthcoming course dates.

On-demand Captivate training courses (for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

How much does Adobe Captivate training cost?

	Introduction to Adobe Captivate training course (two days).	£ + VAT per delegate.	£1,250 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £50 + VAT per subsequent delegate.
	Advanced Adobe Captivate training course (one day).	-	£695 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £50 + VAT per subsequent delegate.
	Advanced Adobe Captivate training course (two or more days).	-	£POA.

These prices are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

The on-demand fees quoted are for Captivate training courses held at our training centre in Bromsgrove. Please contact us for a price for running a Captivate training course at your venue, or any other Captivate training options you may be interested in.

Which versions of Captivate are covered?

Scheduled Introduction to Adobe Captivate courses are currently based on Captivate 4 (as contained in Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2). Most of the techniques taught are also relevant to Captivate 3.

On-demand Captivate training courses can be based on any version of Captivate.
