Adobe Illustrator is the industry-leading vector graphics software that enables you to produce extraordinary graphics for print, video, the web and mobile devices. It is a sophisticated graphics program capable of creating complex illustrations and type effects.

Armada offers Adobe Illustrator training to new and experienced Illustrator users. We offer the following courses:

These are Adobe-accredited courses. The trainer for this course is a highly experienced, award winning illustrator, an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) and an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Illustrator.

Introduction to Adobe Illustrator training

Duration

One day.

Course objectives

To provide you with the essential knowledge you need to create shapes, work with type and layers and apply effects and styles, giving you the basics to build on. The course also investigates the most effective ways for integrating Illustrator into your workflow.

Advanced Adobe Illustrator training

Duration

One day.

Course objectives

To teach how to use Illustrator's powerful tools and techniques for creating complex designs and professional-looking renderings, creating conceptual designs, creating and customizing objects, and collaborating on designs with other team members.

Who should attend?

Graphic designers and other Adobe Illustrator users who have either attended Introduction to Adobe Illustrator training, or have previous experience with Illustrator.

General course information

Method of delivery

Illustrator training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements and issues with the trainer.

Courseware and certification

Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), accredited for Illustrator training. Delegates receive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and use as a refresher following the course. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed Illustrator training.

Trainer details

The trainer for this course is an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) who is an Adobe Certified Expert in Illustrator.

After course support

Delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from Armada to help with any post-training issues.

When and where?

Scheduled Introduction to Adobe Illustrator training courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands, close to Birmingham and the M5/M6/M40/M42 motorway network. Click here for forthcoming course dates.

On-demand Illustrator training courses (for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

Which versions of Adobe Illustrator can training be based on?

Scheduled Introduction to Adobe Illustrator training courses are currently based on Illustrator CS5. The course is also suitable for users of Illustrator CS4 - the use of Illustrator at introductory level isn't significantly different between the two versions.

On-demand Illustrator courses can be based on Illustrator CS4 or Illustrator CS5

How much does Adobe Illustrator training cost?

	Introduction to Adobe Illustrator training course (1 day).	£	£595 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £50 + VAT per subsequent delegate.
	Adobe Illustrator Advanced training course (1 day).	Not available.	£595 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £50 + VAT per subsequent delegate.

These prices are for Adobe Illustrator training courses based at our training centre; they are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.
